Edge offers everything you would expect from a modern mobile browser, including a private browsing mode, voice search, and a QR code reader. It’s all wrapped in a user interface that will feel familiar to existing Edge users on Windows 10.
And that’s exactly who Edge for iOS is aimed at. Its biggest selling points are the ability to sync favorites, passwords, and reading lists between mobile and PC using your Microsoft account — and “continue on PC” functionality.
to be honest, i didn’t even know that microsoft was coming out with a new “edge” browser for iOS…. and yeah, the first thing that went through my head was along the lines of, “oh great, yet another effin browser to worry about! damnit.”
guess i’ll have to download it…
